Lets not forget that subsidies for oil companies are for EXPLORATION which includes moving a billion dollar drilling rig into hazardous sub zero ocean conditions in the arctic or antarctic, TO EXPLORE AND SEE IF THERE IS OIL to drill which in turn powers the nation and the economy. As you can see from the real output numbers, green and renewables are not going to replace more efficient and abundant fuel sources for long into the future, if ever.
